Nail Bay and Virgin Gorda

Picture
Moonlit Sea is nestled in the foothills of Gorda Peak, the tallest spot on Virgin Gorda and a BVI National Park. It is in Nail Bay resort , and guests have access to the resort's pool and the adjacent Sugarcane restaurant. It is a convenient 15 minute drive from both the northern and southern tips of the island. Hog Heaven restaurant with its panoramic view of North Sound is a short drive away.  You can go hiking on Gorda Peak, explore the many beaches that are close by, and easily drive up to North Sound or drive down to Spanish Town or the famous Baths.

Virgin Gorda is consistently ranked as one of the top vacation spots in the world.  The North Sound has Bitter End Yacht Club, Leverick Bay Marina, Saba Rock, and more.  To the south, Spanish Town offers restaurants (including Coco Maya and several at Little Dix), groceries, banks and ATMs, and the ferry station. On the southern tip, you'll find Spring Bay National Park, which has the famous Baths.

Virgin Gorda has marinas in Spanish Town and Leverick Bay that have dive shops, boat rentals and charters, and guides (or instructors) for everything from sailing to snorkeling. Anegada, Jost Van Dyke, Peter Island, Tortola and St Thomas are within easy reach by ferry.
